About ECFMG certificates
The graduates from AAIMS receive the MD degree along with the ECFMG Certificate.
ECFMG - Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates
The ECFMG Certificate is provided for the successful completion of the step-2 of USMLE (United States Medical License Exam) which enables the graduates to proceed for the USMLE Step-3 in the US.
After completing all the 3 steps of USMLE, the MD graduate is eligible to practice Medicine in the United States.
